to buy baby things before I've even conceived

Dp has finally earned the 'd' in dp and agreed to start ttc in June. Even though I have problems with my womanly bits, and it may be difficult to concieve, I have the urge to buy baby bits and pieces in preparation, especially while they're so cheap in the sales. Might I jinx things?

Don't do it, like others have said, spend some money on yourself! Maybe a nice getaway for you and your partner?

Please don't. DH and I starting trying 7 years ago. We're still trying.

There's no such thing as a jinx. But if I was your DH I'd find the fact you're buying baby stuff and we'd only agreed to start ttc in 6 months very odd and controlling and pressurising. Just not a good idea.
