I only asked for two things. Specific Cardigan and slippers. Told him at the beginning of December yet he didn't do anything till last week when both sold out in my size. Cardigan came in size 8 "just in case it fitted"( it didn't) and no slippers at all (and I really need some if not the requested ones.) Got some other bits but nothing I really wanted. Meanwhile he had a list of 9 things and got each one.
Aibu to be a bit pissed off and tell him? He's usually good with presents tbf. We did have a baby this year so difficult to get out but both could have been ordered easily online from the same shop.

He did wrap them, so that is a bonus! I am already perusing the online sales!!!

Not read it all but i'm drunk so can't. I got a bottle of vinegar, a onesie (which i fucking hate the things and would take back but dcs have insisted i wear it all day so can't now) and some cheap shampoo which i'm never likely to use.
YABU get over it. You have someone who wants to get you something be grateful for that and go shopping in the sales for what you want.

yanbu. I am sad about my gifts too. I got all "old lady" gifts....AGAIN! I'm 40...not 80 and I want something a bit glam....not talking designer bags but some nice clothes maybe or some earrings...I always get things from Mum and DH that are what you'd buy "Aunty Vi" in the care home!
