My ex was getting right on my boobs with dramatic sighing, forehead feeling, gland clutching (his neck) and so, so much more but I cant say because it turns out I was wrong.

I said it was a virus stop being a wuss!!

He had a blood test, turns out his liver isnt functioning properly. Thats all I know, thats the words he used so not sure what to take from it. He has more blood tests on Monday and a scan soon.

Obviously, despite him being an ex Im worried about him. I have no idea what causes this, he is T-total!! Drinks about one beer a year, if that in fact.

And a very, very selfish part of me (I KNOW its selfish, thats why Im getting it out here so I dont in RL) is wondering how Im going to deal with the drama (assuming it doesnt turn out to be something serious - fingers firmly crossed!). Since he had the results he seems to have got significantly worse, the second he had ghe phone call 'I am very weak' etc etc Im gritting my teeth, I promised him Id be supportive and understanding but I dread him milking this. Of course, again assuming it doesnt turn out to be something serious. Confused

Nope, fair enough I admit I didnt see it from that point of view.

Originally, people were giving me grief because I gave him antibiotics and it could have effected his liver. It was to that which I was saying he was a grown man and made his own decision.

As for the risk of not finishing courses, then yes I agree that was stupid.

Ive not given him antibiotics before but I have to admit I sometimes (not always) dont finish a course. Its never intentionally, I usually begin to feel better and because it isnt on my mind, discomfort gone, I genuinely forget to finish the course sometimes. Im human.

But, I accept, I have been told and I shant do it again.

Always, always, always finish a course of antibiotics, even if (in fact, especially if) you feel better - they give you that number for a reason, they're not like painkillers.

And never, ever, ever give drugs prescribed for you to someone else, even if they have the same symptoms as you - your doctor knows their entire medical history, you don't.

Yes, as I said its not something I do intentionally. Ive never looked at half a packet and thought "nah, fuck that."
