to expect my chocolate orange not to be pre-tapped?

Yes I am raiding the xmas chocolate stash but am disappointed that my orange (and the other one too) was all loose and segmenty.

surely the fun is the tap and unwrap and the tastiest bit is the core strip?

Damn you Terrys!

I'm going to go totally against the grain on this very important subject and say that I hate having to thump my chocolate orange before devouring it!

I never manage to hit it hard enough the first (few) time(s) and start to feel very impatient and frustrated at my lovely chocolatey treat eluding me. I just don't seem to have the knack! I would definitely prefer a quieter, more gentle start to my chocolate eating binges.

Surely I can't be the only one? I'm sure there's an untapped (sorry!) market out there for pre-tapped chocolate oranges!

I bought six from Superdrug the other day, for £1 each! Bargainous! Got a couple of dark ones, couple of milk and a couple with some crunchy stuff in.

Then I ate one Xmas Blush but it wasn't segmenty.

I love the boxes of segments though and can polish one off in record time!

DM gets me a dark chocolate orange every year apart from last year when I got a milk chocolate one. That was bad enough but when I opened it it was segmented AND had a piece missing.

I'm still traumatised Xmas Shock

Yanbu. I have a corner of the coffee table reserved for this exact reason. It is used far too often.
