To want a Scottish independence topic so I can hide it?

I cannot be arsed with all the utter shite that is being spouted. If I read another "im sick of subsidising their free uni places so I hope they go" or "I'm voting yes cos I want to make history" I may explode

The amount of fiction coming from both sides is enough to put JK Rowling to shame.

Nah, you know the type. Posts a sentence about Scotland being some sort of utopia and gets everyone all fired up, then conveniently disappears.

If you can back up your opinion, I respect it. Peace :)

Ah. Maybe they should be renamed Tartan Trolls Grin

SantanaLopez · 09/12/2013 22:29
Grin
JulieMumsnet · 09/12/2013 22:33

We'll look into this.

YANBU. Hiding them all, bloody horrible, apart from the thread someone mentioned a couple of weeks back which I followed with interest.

TapirbackFucker · 09/12/2013 23:18

YANBU, and the sooner the better.

GoshAnneGorilla · 09/12/2013 23:33

Santana - I have to agree about the thread from a few weeks ago. I lurked quite happily on it. I think it was the most informative thing I've read upon this issue, in fact I will go further and say it was Mumsnet At Its Best.

People who generally knew what they were talking about, discussing things in a non deletion-worthy fashion. Great.

yes please JulieMumsnet!

Can someone link to the civilised thread?

Here Shredded. Got a wee bit lost towards the end, but really great. www.mumsnet.com/Talk/am_i_being_unreasonable/1913426-To-want-to-keep-my-UK-passport-if-Scotland-votes-YES-in-the-2014-referendum
