Especially when said by a cocky arrogant man.

It's just so demeaning. Or am I just a prude?

CuttedUpPear · 08/12/2013 13:57

D?

What?

DoYouLikeMyBaubles · 08/12/2013 13:57

Only if we can say he wants the V

Which we wouldn't because we're not idiots

catgirl1976 · 08/12/2013 13:58

I'm having to guess what it means, but if it means "she wants the dick" then I would find it more pathetic than anything else.

But YANBU to find it distasteful

I don't imagine the cocky, arrogant man in question gets to use his "d" much

insancerre · 08/12/2013 13:58

are you playing scrabble?
Confused

DuchessFanny · 08/12/2013 13:58

What's a 'D' please ?

OpalTourmaline · 08/12/2013 13:58

What does it mean? I've never heard of it

scaredoflabour · 08/12/2013 13:59

D????
V????
am I being thick?

SPsWantsCliffInHerStocking · 08/12/2013 14:00

Dick
Vagina

What you say back is:

Want to hear a joke about the V? Nah, you will never get it

ArtisanLentilWeaver · 08/12/2013 14:01

Dick and vagina, I think. scaredoflabour

sapfu · 08/12/2013 14:01

Eh? What?

Never heard this phrase.

I want a Dyson, does that count?

oharaharlot · 08/12/2013 14:01

Sorry yes, D as in Dick.

A guy at work (who I thought was nice) apparently said (about me) - yeah she just wants the D.

Obviously referring to himself.

Finola1step · 08/12/2013 14:02

Doughnut?

Vino?

ArtisanLentilWeaver · 08/12/2013 14:02

Is he looking for a Knee in the B's? Because he will surely get one.

oharaharlot · 08/12/2013 14:04

I don't know why its pissed me off so much!

Maybe its the fact that hes been saying it behind my back to people, thus giving them a pretty shit opinion of myself.

OP posts:
OpalTourmaline · 08/12/2013 14:04

I do not want your D because U R a D' head.

oharaharlot · 08/12/2013 14:06

Btw he has the word "cock" in his surname.

Definitely living up to it.

OP posts:
SPsWantsCliffInHerStocking · 08/12/2013 14:07

The males who say this tend to not get the V

mrsmalcolmreynolds · 08/12/2013 14:07

It's pissed you off because it's unprofessional, insulting, crude, misogynistic - I could go on...

ShotgunNotDoingThePans · 08/12/2013 14:08

Did he say that on work premises? Not sure what the guidelines are, but at the very least that surely constitutes behaviour that would bring te firm into disrepute? That's before even starting on the sexual harassment aspect.

HECTheHeraldAngelsSing · 08/12/2013 14:09

cock by name, cock by nature.

mrsjay · 08/12/2013 14:10

god he obviously thinks very highly of himself I do like sp reply though Grin op I am so sorry you need to work with this arse of a man I would reply with a sarky comment

mrsmalcolmreynolds · 08/12/2013 14:10

Thinking about it more, in a work context this is surely pretty close to sexual harassment? I would be contacting HR I think.

KatOD · 08/12/2013 14:10

If he said it to anyone whose opinion is worth worrying about it will be his reputation that will have suffered. How foul.

mrsmalcolmreynolds · 08/12/2013 14:11

Xpost with Shotgun.

oharaharlot · 08/12/2013 14:12

Did he say that on work premises?

Yes, in front of at least two of my work colleagues.
