I got asked who made me the thread police last week - because I was the first to ask a particularly vile poster why they had started a (particularly vile) thread about immigrants and benefits. we used to use university to mean the establishment or the studying we were going to do, but called it college day to day.

eg: to parents "I'm going to university"
