My 90s perfume was LouLou. I loved it so much - I would never wear it now.

I love it. Jasmine and sandalwood are two of my favorite scents, and it combines them very well. I use it carefully though; it is heady.

I used to looooove samsara!! I'm currently wearing obsession. It's funny how many people have commented on it, remembering the smell but not how vintage it is. Marvellous.

I love Samsara.
I couldn't choose between that and Paris last time I had real perfume.
Paris did win,because I thought it was a year round perfume whereas I don't think I'd wear Samsara in the Summer.

My other 90's perfumes were Vanderbilt and Eau Dynamisante.

It's funny how smell is such an amazing memory trigger.

I can now smell Vanderbilt and picture myself on the bus with my ex zooming past on his motorbike with his new girlfriend riding pillion.I was wearing a red jumper with gold buttons on the sleeves.....

Still love the perfume.Still hate my ex.

I like Britany Spears perfumes . thing is they don"t last like Estee Lauder do .

I like estee lauder also as a lot of them are oil based so last longer . trouble is when I am in St Lucia , it is so very hot the fragrance just evaporates .

Also Shalimar and Opium.

I am definitely stuck in the 80s!

I buy Obsession for men for DH.

I have to smell him, so I choose his scent ;)

I love Samsara and have been wearing it since I was about 18, so, you know, only a few years .

L'Instant by Guerlain s also delicious, and reminds me of my much loved and missed Grandma (she wore violet scent).

I only really wear Guerlain perfume - love it, and the history of the company. Their flagship store on Champs Élysées (my favourite summer perfume) is beautiful.

I loovvveee Samsara too! I used to wear in all the time but haven't had any for years now. I need to put some on my Christmas list too!

Rive Gauche smells like cat pee on me though! I definitely agree that not every person suits every perfume.

So who remembers YSL Paris, also as students we all went through a LouLou phase.

Not a fan but remember those 80's perfume fondly Anais Anais was another good one

my Mum bought me a bottle a few years ago .... ugh! swopped it with an older woman at work for a much more up to date 'lighter' fragrance. Sorry Mintyy .... there are much nicer ones to choose from

I wore LouLou and Vanderbilt in my 'youth'. Samsara is one of my favourites too. Are we all stuck in a time warp?

I loved most scents from the 90's but one that really sticks in my mind is Fresco by Impulse..it reminds me of when I met my husband I would spray myself liberally then waltz off to the pub I bet I went thru 3 tins of the stuff every weekend. I would love to find some somewhere but all the new Impulse smells horrid

I think Chanel No. 5 smells like an old lady doused in cat's piss but that doesn't stop people buying it, so you go for your Samsara and you enjoy it.
