It's never unreasonable to care about another human being and to feel sorry for their circumstances.

Horrible way to go, my thoughts and prayers are with those left behind

I love the F&F films, and Paul Walker. So much so, I woke up to texts from a few people saying "Are you upset this morning?" and the likes and I was confused. When I found out, it just didn't feel real. I couldn't believe it. Took a while for it to sink in.

I didn't cry, but this death does seem to of bothered me in a way that other Celeb deaths have never done before. I really don't know why, because although I loved his films and thought he was the most gorgeous man ever, I still didn't know him.

So sad. Such a waste. Their poor families Sad

I didn't cry but I'm gutted. Personally I'm not a huge fan of the F&F films but DH is. I really liked him in the film eight below.

The pictures published of the crash are distasteful and distressing and I don't think they should be allowed to do so in respect of family.

My thoughts go out to all their families. Especially Paul's 15 year-old daughter and his friend's 8 year-old son.

I loved Eight Below. One of my favourite ever films.

CloverCharm · 02/12/2013 09:35

Yep Sparkly, that's one film that seriously tugs on my heart strings

In reply to a few posts ago.

Indeed it doesn't necessarily take skill to produce tyre marks. Doughnuts are different however, have you ever tried doing that to a car? Hmm

It really wasn't sensible to act like that on a public road agreed but to argue that something like that doesn't take skill is just silly.

Roger Rodas was the other guy's name.... not as famous, so he will be forgotten..

I cried at the news that

"The eight-year-old son of Roger Rodas bravely tried to save his dad as flames engulfed the supercar following the crash which killed Fast and Furious star Paul Walker.

The boy jumped a fence and ran over to the burning car in a desperate bid to free his trapped father."

MummyofIsla · 02/12/2013 20:40

Madeofstardust, I read that in today's papers. Its utterly tragic!

Bourjois · 02/12/2013 20:51

YANBU at all. Horrible way to die and you have to hope it was very quick and they'd been knocked into unconsciousness before the flames started. Ugh.

I cried and cried over Caron Keating. Poor lamb, and to leave young children too. Grim.

Let's all kiss our loved ones a bit more and be grateful that we're still here tonight x
