Gutted I missed it. What channel was it on?

TheGinLushMinion · 23/11/2013 22:55

Just realised I was only 9 when it came out, whoop whoop for the good feeling...

Allegrogirl · 23/11/2013 23:01

Yanbu. Great film, awesome soundtrack. Responsible for my 'look' ( Indian skirts, white bloueses, silver jewellery, wavy hair) 1990-1995. Kieffer and Jason both yum.

Shenanagins · 23/11/2013 23:03

Very happy now as downloaded it to watch tomorrow night as it had just finished (sky sci -fi) as i got down from putting the kids to bed.

AntoinetteCosway · 23/11/2013 23:05

YANBU. This, Stand By Me, The Breakfast Club, St Elmo's Fire...I wish I was 15 again and could justify the many, many crushes I still have on some of these actors!

YoureMyZombieWifeNowDave · 23/11/2013 23:06

This film is responsible for the lovely dog currently lying on my feet :) I loved Nanook and now own a malamute

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/11/2013 23:08

Cryyyy little sister...

GideonKipper · 23/11/2013 23:16

Dear God Jason Patric was an absolute breathtaking beauty of a man in that film. Where is he now? Bizarrely I've got a dh who looks like Kiefer Sutherland, but he never did anything for me (KS, that is, not DH!).

PoisonedApple · 23/11/2013 23:18

Ooh ooh! I can show off! I have actually stood on the bridge! I was on my honeymoon and I was so excited. Think DH was seriously worried he had made a terrible mistake...

Plomino · 23/11/2013 23:19

Oh yes , the film that launched a lifetime of lust . Kiefer is MINE , I tell thee . I made one of the DS's sit and watch it with me the other night .

Death by stereo !!

Ridersofthestorm · 23/11/2013 23:20

Love The Lost Boys, such an 80's teen classic. I fancied the pants off Cory Haim in this film, so sad what happened to him.

squoosh · 23/11/2013 23:26

I absolutely adored Corey Haim and used to watch this film all the time when I was 14. What happened to him is too depressing for words. Has kind of ruined the film for me now.

susiedaisy · 24/11/2013 09:05

I've always thought Jason patric is a bit wooden as an actor but beautiful to look at. The second Speed film with him and Sandra bullock is pretty crap but I've watched it several times just to stare at Jason Blush

GoldenGytha · 24/11/2013 17:59

Was never a fan of Brat Pack 80's films, but The Lost Boys is fantastic!

My dad was very disapproving when I told him I was off to see a film about vampires Grin

I always liked one of the other vampires better than David though, the one who got Death by Stereo!

I thought, seeing it for the first time in the cinema, that the grandad was going to be the head vampire.

Love "You wait til mom finds out", and "Don't bite me" Grin

ddubsgirl · 24/11/2013 18:05

hell yeah vamps burn not sparkle Angry

YANBU re: Lost Boys. God I loved that film.
