WIBU to ask the woman in the flat below to turn her heating off?

Of course I would, so I am not going to. BUT, I flat share in the city I go to uni in. Wonderful flat mate, beautiful flat and quite cheap. We both enjoy not having to put the heating on, due to heat rising and us being toastie even in the coldest weather.

Tonight is not cold though and I am sweletering in the heat. I do not have the heating on. I can see the smoke/steam or whatever it is, coming from downstairs flats central heating, so she clearly has hers on. I am now sat with the balcony door open, trying to cool down a little.

I wonder is she is ill, to have the heating on when it isn't even cold.

...are you sure there isn't a cannabis 'farm' below you?

Going on how cold it is today, all the plants would be dead!

cold here (kent) heating has been on since midd sept

would happily have no heating on and save £100+ a month and open doors if had a neighbour who was heating my house unaware :)

just think of the heating bills you are saving keep the window open and suck it up

It is freezing here but I am sure my upstairs neighbour is toasty warm

I live in a bungalow, so have have nobody under or above me and sleep under a flat roofed extension. I have 20 degrees in sitting room with heating on very low < 2 layers bottoms and 3 on top and am fine.>
Would still love to be able to sit in my summer clothes with windows open and no fuel costs.
Have 0 outside already.
