To be irritated by these girly, weak, breathy voiced singers lately?

It seems to be on adverts, the bloody Lidl one is the worst, it ends with a really weak "All these little thiiiings" and it drives me crackers!

Some singers are like this too, Ellie Goulding for example.

Can anyone else identify with my irritation with this?

Or worsen my irritation with suggestions of equally whiney-voiced singers you have heard?

PlateSpinning, it's Gabrielle Aplin who did Power of Love cover.

Gabriella Cilmi did "Sweet About Me", and a cover of "Warm This Winter", she has a pretty gutsy voice so unfair to lump her with the feebles. However she is still a bit of an idiot, she did an interview last week bleating on about how FHM duped her by publishing a sexy shoot she did, where the photos were not what she expected. I don't know what she expected when she posed topless and wet wearing leather pants...

Haim - they are brilliant singers, with a lot of guts. Lorde too, she has great control of her voice. And Solange Knowles (wee sister of Beyonce , completely different material), her last album was amazing.
