That in fact some of us keep these things private because we don't want to get found out in rl or just want a bollenaise recipe or to let off steam room like to we would to our friends?

Really getting annoyed by people saying is that all you have to worry about about?

Of course it isn't, and no one is really dim enough to assume that you only post about the important in your life

Great post Sparkling, but may I say that you should consider yourself lucky to be able to post at all considering there are people in the world with a distinct lack of brain matter Wink

SPsTombRaidingWithCliff · 28/10/2013 22:59

Think for half an hour?!

Some people dont have that luxury

Sparklingbrook · 28/10/2013 22:59

Oh blimey you are right Jolleigh, I am very very lucky.

APartridgeAmongThePigeons · 28/10/2013 23:01

Grin very honoured to have been such a source of inspiration. It did get up my nose a bit, I have to say.

Alien has indeed decided to take a short break...for the next week I'm officially smuggling a Mango. Wink

Yes I agree.. I have just posted about having to wear fancy dress and

We are in jeopardy of losing our home through a legal claim for damages at the moment.

BigOrangePumpkin · 28/10/2013 23:20

Jolleigh I've just read the thread in question. Some of the posters on it were hugely massive dicks. I think you held your own pretty well though!

Jolleigh · 28/10/2013 23:24

Why thank you kindly Pumpkin

Bettercallsaul1 · 28/10/2013 23:29

Totally agree, OP - it's the "medium-sized" problems that are best suited to discussion on MN . The very minor ones are not worth starting a debate over, and the really important ones are too raw to expose to public opinion.

This seems screamingly obvious and luckily most people on MN are sensible enough to agree, as can be seen on this thread.

I'm currently packing a spaghetti squash Hmm

Wish they'd update the fruit and veg comparisons.

You've got an iPhone and I've got a tablet. Bit more "now" wouldnt you say?

Totally agree OP. I post like Sparklingbrook I think -- it's fun to come on here, I like an interesting discussion every now and then, and I'm glad to try to help people who want to talk about real worries. I mean it is a fucking talk forum. For talking. About anything. If people only posted when they were in desperate need of help the traffic drop would be staggering, b/c the rest of us wouldn't be here!

The ones that annoy me APartridge are the property ones where they state a fruit or veg that comes in loads of different sizes...

Tomatos
Bananas

When mine was smaller I was attempting to compare it to chocolate. Made my brother laugh when I told him it was the size of a fun-size mars bar Wink
