My neighbour, who stays in the same block as me text the following message to me, I am friendly with her and often chat, but I am not best friends with her, I am 38+3 weeks pregnant. I havnt spoken to her since last Thursday and tonight/last night she sent the.following random text

"Omg while a remember a had a really bad dream last night that your lost your baby!!! It was horrible"

WHY THE HELL WOULD SHE SEND THIS??????!! I'm feeling very anxious now and cannot sleep, I'm so near the end of my pregnancy, why, why would anyone send that? I'm not close to her, and even if she did dream this, why tell me?!?

AIBU to be so wound up? And what do I reply? BlushAngry

OP, if it helps, lately I have had the following dreams:

  • that I was pissing on Madeleine Albright's shoes
  • that Romania and Moldova were involved in a boundary dispute that threatened Moldova's biodiversity.
  • that I was getting married. Again. To my existing husband.
  • that said husband was cheating on me with (non existent) SIL, the day she gave birth to a child, which happened to be during a football World Cup England game.

Pretty sure none of these will affect you. None of these came true either :)
Your neighbour is a complete twat.

What a silly cow!

Dubjackeen · 22/10/2013 18:02

Good reply OP. Why the hell would anyone send such a text, in any circumstances. Put it out of your mind, and if you get any more stupid, insensitive texts, ignore, ignore, ignore!

BodaciousTatas · 22/10/2013 18:44

Wow she obviously has no boundaries.

If dreams came true matthew mcconaughey would have burst though my balcony door ( no jokes Smile) and had sex with me. I have had this dream 3 times and it ain't happening.

She is a knob, ignore, put your feet up and relax.

I had a dream last night that the Queen died. Do you think I should text her?

phantomnamechanger · 22/10/2013 20:57

I dreamed the other night that my neighbour was just home from hospital having had a baby boy called Jimmy, and the other neighbour was out in the street and we were chatting and wondering how ever she would cope, as a single mum and at the age of 88!!

I don't think I'll be telling her she's gonna have a baby......

Last night I dreamed the world was going to end because too many people had been down to visit the titanic, it had shifted the tectonic plates or something.

Oh & guess who was the last to visit the titanic and therefore in the doghouse with the entire race?

Dreams don't mean anything, you and your perfect little baby will be just fine Smile

GreenGiant3 · 22/10/2013 21:27

I think she is completely and utterly inappropriate and it's a horrible thing for her to send that message. However, and I don't know if you believe that dreams have any meaning, but I have previously been told that dreaming about death can be a sign that you are leaving an old life behind and embarking on a new life. You will be doing that, a new life as a mother with a snuggly little baby, enjoy it all x

SweetSeraphim · 22/10/2013 21:51

Did she reply to your text?

MikeReepySpooksard · 22/10/2013 22:11

Love your response. What a completely thick and insensitive bitch! I hope she is ashamed now, awful woman.

GreenGiant3 · 22/10/2013 23:02

No she didn't reply... Hmm

Not seen her come or go today, but I know she read my text, it says on the phone we have... Oh well...
