To wonder how people feed babies this revolting stuff day in day out

Had to give a mindee a jar of food today ( mum particularly wanted her to have it).
it smelt rank and I couldn't bring myself to try it.
Little one wolfed it down though so obviously used to the taste and it wasn't "off".
AIBU to think that except in emergencies babies should be fed food you would be happy to eat yourself ( or is Heinz food particularly revolting?)

Im scared of the teenage years, dont have a gun chasing them with a rolling pin will have to do

HaroldLloyd · 20/10/2013 20:53

See Moogs, at least your not cooking for horrible ungrateful teenagers thats a plus point.

Imagine having to be a teen childminder, shudder.

Heartbrokenmum73 · 20/10/2013 20:55

Christ, teens would probably reject anything home-cooked and just want fast food!

2tiredtocare · 20/10/2013 20:56

Give me a bunch of toddlers any day

Heartbrokenmum73 · 20/10/2013 20:59

19 posts to go.

Do you think we could have some sort of countdown calendar? Maybe something with little pictures and/or chocolates inside? Think I've seen something like that in the shops...

HaroldLloyd · 20/10/2013 21:00

My toddler is pretty hard work, will it get worse? He has an alter ego and everything. His alter ego sounds like Satan.

HaroldLloyd · 20/10/2013 21:01

This poor bugger looks happy

Heartbrokenmum73 · 20/10/2013 21:02

Every stage you go through, someone always says 'oh, this age is easy, wait until they're X age'.

Now that my eldest is 11, I'm actually getting pensioners telling me to wait until she's in her 30s/40s!

I hope she'll have fucking moved out by then, thanks.

hobnobsaremyfavourite · 20/10/2013 21:02

I'll be moving house as soon as DS2 hits 18 and goes off to University. And I won't be telling them where I'm going. And I'm renting so there will nothing for them to inherit either.
