To wonder how noisy you are DTD?

As a follow up to the loud sneezing thread, it made me wonder about noises people make DTD. Is this involuntary or can people choose the level of noise they make?

I'm very quiet by the way.

AKissIsNotAContract · 01/10/2013 18:32

I'm quiet when I orgasm but the whip makes a bit of noise :)

ViciousVampireGuineaPig · 01/10/2013 18:32

I am deathly quiet. Can't make a noise. It's all part of it, I guess. Physically don't dont do the whole moaning, screaming thing.

mistyshouse · 01/10/2013 18:46

usually very quiet so as to not wake dcs :o

when they are not around though, am a bit louder as dh likes it

DaleyBump · 01/10/2013 18:48

I just don't orgasm during sex (not DP's fault, he's fab) and I do make a bit of noise. Not that much, though. He makes a fair bit of noise when he finishes :p

knockedgymnast · 01/10/2013 18:49

My ex partner was very loud. I honestly don't think he could help it, he just used to get in the zone Hmm. I.used to have to put my hand over his mouth to stop him screaming like a bitch.....He would have made great porn fodder but it sometimes irritated me.

knockedgymnast · 01/10/2013 18:56

Dog, I reckon Grin

When friend's mum was in labour, midwife said ' I bet you didn't make that much noise getting the baby in there' Hmm

Obvs before PC days.

shewhowines · 01/10/2013 18:58

i was very quiet during labour too. I wouldn't be surprised if there is a correlation. {grin}

I honestly wracked my brains to think what DTD was in this title and came up with Doing The Dishes! Oh dear.

MrsMongoose · 01/10/2013 19:16

I'm a noisy bugger. I reckon if I played tennis I'd be a grunted too Wink

Though I could be quiet if required, it is a massive effort to be and ends up with lots of heavy breathing. I like to think I make soft, breathy, feminine moans rather than scream though!

Deffo not a screamer!

MrsMongoose · 01/10/2013 19:20

I also make noise when I orgasm on my own - maybe that is a true sign of needing to make noise instinctively, as opposed to being louder for your audience's sake?

WhispersOfWickedness · 01/10/2013 19:31

A lot quieter now we have DC Grin
I was a screamer in labour too Blush

Sallyingforth · 01/10/2013 19:38

Only by snoring.

SecretSix · 01/10/2013 19:50

Can't believe I'm admitting this but my next door neighbour came round one day and when I said hi, you all right, (as you do), she said (very embarrassed) that she'd come round to ask us to be quieter as they could hear us through wall BlushBlushBlushBlushBlush

We're much quieter now.

thebody · 01/10/2013 19:55

have your grown up sons back from uni either dude if your bedroom, obviously still awake and on iPads.

also teen dds pissing around to the bathroom and downstairs to the fridge and chatting.

I might as well be a bloody nun.

Tabby1963 · 01/10/2013 19:58

Now the kids have gone away to uni we can be noisy and more experimental, but the windows have to be closed...

Tuonz · 01/10/2013 20:02

We're not quiet.

Do the quieter people talk during sex? (Don't mean 'oh what shall we have for tea' ). I find we get louder if we're talking.

Bite the pillow the body. Essential for our early morning delight when ds goes down for cereal and TV.

knockedgymnast · 01/10/2013 20:08

On hols and ex-partners mum heard us. Is everything alright in there, she said. Yes, I said. Good, see said, 'cos it sure is better to hear that than arguing. 'Oh', I said Hmm.

Willy goes limp.

FreshLeticia · 01/10/2013 20:24

Hmm, apparently I 'mooed' throughout labour. Hope I don't do similar Grin

CrabbyBigBottom · 01/10/2013 21:55

Many women woo at the transition between first and second stage labour (when you start pushing) Fresh. You aren't the only one. Wink

HenriettaPye · 01/10/2013 22:25

Umm...tuonz what do u talk about? We don't talk!
