Oh god, I'm going to have to kill her aren't I?

My MIL and FIL are here, are lovely, have given me loads of time off from kids, have been fab in every way, but earlier MIL called my 9mo DS a "sexy little man" and earlier said "that's a sexy little laugh".

Obviously after I threw up in my mouth a little and wahed my ears with bleach, I didn't actually SAY anything, but omg if she says it again I shall have to kill her. Which is a shame as she is nice.

Sigh

Ugh. An 'friend' on facebook always posts about her sexy little nephew and it makes me cringe.

I can think of dozens of words to describe a baby and sexy is nowhere near that list!

If she does it again, take a rolled up newspaper and rub her nose in pictures of Johnny Depp!

I can cope with sexy not just being applied to, ya know, things one would want to have sex with. It's fine with inanimate objects ("that sexy car") or concepts ("there's a sexy new theory about...").

But a child? Euuuuwww.

I'd come to the public flogging, btw. This can be self-funding.

If the spray doesn't work, try distracting her by loudly commanding "no!" and making her sit, then offer her a biscuit. Failing that, you're going to have to muzzle her. Sad

What a bizarre turn of phrase Confused
