numb it with an ice pack (I used one from the kids pack lunches), have a couple of alcoholic drinks and then get your other half (if you have one) to hack it off with nail clippers or scissors (we used hairdressing scissors). Have a dressing or lots of tissues on stand by to mop up the blood. If it is a big fat one then tie floss round the base of it for a couple of days beforehand.

We are at completely the opposite ends of the spectrum.

I suffer from these blighters permanently... I name changed cus some of them really are gross.

Once had one down below and it got majassive (like a 2 inch fat dangly bit tmi ... Went to see a gynaecologist who said age would cauterise it, had to be booked in to feckin theatre and everything. Totally mortifying.... Then worst hit was they injected local anaesthetic before they did it. Sweet mother of God I nearly hit the roof at that. It was way sorer than if they had just snipped it off.

Anyway I digress... If they get long under my armpits or around bra line I find they get all red and sore and with the rubbing of a bra come off themselves. Or if not, once long enough give them a twist one way round and round then the other. It's like tying them. A few days of that and they will fall off.
