to wonder if there's an actual reason why I'm being stalked...

...by my normally anti-social, stand-offish cat? Seriously. He just followed me to the bathroom, waited whilst I brushed my teeth then followed me back to bed. This is a cat who normally prefers to be out murdering innocent bunny rabbits for 3 days at a time. I'm starting to wonder if he's picking up on some medical condition I've missed or something!

My cat goes nuts when I'm pg .. He slept on both my bumps and at one point sprayed on me ..( not nice) but I guess I smelt funny .

My cats doing the same. He's usually standoffish but had been all over me. He's doing the same to Dp though and I'd be very worried if he was upduffed.

I was going say before the whole POAS. It has got cold he is waiting for his hot water bottle to sit still so he can snuggle up to it.

My cat left when I got pg the 3rd time! Clearly he'd had enough...

last time I was getting positives on my IC tests from 2 days before af was due. Plus we conceived the first month. Guess I had assumed it would be the same this time. How wrong I was

With ds2 I got a nice strong positive but I never did with my other two so don't assume this pregnancy will be like your last, test again in a few days.

those little paper strips that cost £2 for 25. cheaper than using clear blue 3 times a month!

Those things are quite sensitive but only if you are about a week late. There may still be a chance, test again in a week :)

FWIW my MIL's cat completely ignored me when I was pregnant, both times, my theory was he gets mauled by kids, knew what was coming and fell out with me, yet when I came round the first time after I had DD he was all over me for a fussing! I was like ahhh no, you blanked me for 9 months you bastard :o

Well I bloody hope I am upduffed because I am so freaking tired right now that there must be something horribly wrong with me if not hormones...

Will try and update later in the week if any news. Or if suddenly-needy cat comes up with any new tricks

My cats haven't left me alone since I fell pregnant. They seems to be hanging around my every move like little shadows. I have also read that cats can smell/sense the pregnancy hormones! Also, one of my cats, who I have had for 3 years, suddenly started bringing dead shrews into the house! She has never, ever hunted before and when I googled it there were links as to how female cats can suddenly start hunting when there is a pregnancy in the house - something to do with their maternal side kicking in and wanting to provide Smile

for anyone who cares. .. Still no af. Still no positive test.

However I am both exhausted and starving. Signs are hopeful.
