AIBU?

I don't trust people who don't have any books in their houses.

I think they are a bit evil.

My sister and her DH only have a couple of Jamie Oliver books and THAT'S IT. Freaks.

I get a bit twitchy if I visit someone and I can't see their bookshelf, I have been known to snoop on the pretext of finding the loo or something to put my mind at rest.

I think it shows trerrible character and possibly criminal leanings to not have hundreds some books around the house.

AIBU? I know i'm not really, it's just common sense.

I read 3 books a week, you wouldn't see any books in our house if you viewed it but we are all keen readers.

YANBU
Thinking of (DV) exH versus me.

The only books he had were about our car model. Yes you can get those.

I do love books and I have managed to rescue one from my grandmother's house that must be almost 100 years old. I used to read it as a child.

makes mental note to count them
and to buy new shelves, as the case looks cluttered

All our books are upstairs.

You would view us with deep suspicion if you came round.

lweji, You're like me. My x had car catalogues for cars he didn't own. The only book he read (fiction) was the mayor of casterbridge. I wondered was that a coded message! I have a copy of little women that was given to my mum for being good in sunday school when she was 11!
