To think this is a bit odd/bordering on sinister.....

The kids and I have just got back from a weekend at my parents.

My very kind elderly next door neighbour fed my cat for me (he and his wife always do this for me while I am away) since Friday eve.

When we arrived home the cat was at the door to great us (bit odd in itself as she normally doesn't speak to us for days if we leave her) and my neighbour was upstairs in my sons attic room Hmm.

I think he does play with the cat for a bit as they are quite lonely and don't have a lot to do but AIBU to think this is a bit irregular?

I didn't say anything and just thanked him and took the keys back - he did look a bit embarrassed and now I am sat here feeling a bit icky Confused.

I agree withSuperman - old folk wander about and ponder. They tarrie and daydream.
However, being pervy is another thing altogether.
I would just not ask them again.

A couple of years ago our neighbour mentioned that the cat cuddled up to their son (36 at the time) when he 'fell asleep' on our sofa Shock.

We thought that was pretty weird, but went with it; next time we went away we got him Sky Sport on the telly.

At the end of the day, being at home is a bloody sight nicer for the cat than being incarcerated a cattery.

leave a nanny cam or something similar next time you go away and then you'll see for yourself Grin

And have you checked there are no little cameras that have been left behind to send a feed next door!!!

Come to think of it,when i feed my ftiends cats i walk through the house and pop my head in each room and check windows

He could have been opening or closing the curtains to make it seem like someone was home?

Come to think of it when I was cat sitting I used to go and check the windows and taps were off etc etc no hair straighteners left on etc the family were so scatty they went to France for 3 weeks and left all the bloody windows open upstairs!Admittedly this was only after they had just gone and then probably before they came back just to check he might have been completely innocent you know thinking more about it.

I was feeding neighbours cats once. Couldn't find one but could hear scratching upstairs. Ventured up and found cat shut in one of the bedrooms having wrecked the room and pood. I tidied and picked up poo (put duvet back on bed/picked up chair type thing but not through stuff)

Is there any chance he could be doing that?
