To buy a pair of customised fairy wings on Etsy for my baby?

I know it's probably naff, but I love fancy dress and at the moment post-baby I'm far too fat to contemplate it!

I've got my 4 month-old baby a lovely dress, headband and shoes for an upcoming wedding, which makes her look like a little fairy. Is it wrong to go the whole hog and get her some beautiful (far too pricey) wings and then do a photo shoot?!

(Caveat - she is my PFB, so it's still all new and exciting!)

The fairywings look beautiful and IMO will go very well with the outfit.

If I had a fairy at my wedding I'd be thrilled. Unless I already had 12 fairies and yours was the 13th......

It's worth checking with the photograpaher that they haven't got some in their props box before you buy them :)

I wouldn't pick those ones for a little baby. However photoshoot with wings are a lovely idea. My cousins baby had one when she was about 4 months lying on her tummy with fairy wings on and it's a gorgeous pic.

Ha seventhchild - it's okay, it's my brother's wedding and they've only got adult bridesmaids, so no duplication... They've also seen and approved her outfit! And I would resist the urge to add the wings on that particular day! :)

Lovely dress and headband. The original wings remind me of a fish with tail rot - I'd look for some alternatives.
