Sorry for Daily Fail link but given all the threads we have on pink/blue arguments I had to laugh..on the one hand...but on the other, I felt relieved that she had a boy and that a poor benighted daughter was not going to be brainwashed in a pink princess crap.

On the third hand perhaps the poor wee lad will be drowned in toy guns, camouflage gear and dinosaurs 'cos that is what boys are about.

I think the thing I love most about this story is the fact she bought the £500 of baby clothes from Asda. I love George clothes, but imagine how much £500 would get you. No wonder she needed £1k's worth of pink furniture to house it all.

Coming out on the side of the family here - in as much as it's up to them what they spend their cash on-why should it matter that they wanted to do what they thought of as best for their baby? Of course DFail make them look like muppets....er....it's the DF.
So they wanted a new pram-so what? So she went a bit crazy buying clothes....and? She likes pink for a girl and blue for a boy-so?
Oh, and for the record, I did not find out the sex of any of my 3 DCs, I had a new (beige) pram (Bugaboo-bloody expensive-flame me I loved it), and DCs live in hand me downs. The point is?

I think that baby grew a penis in self defense.

(And please jog off with the Mae comments. Yes it's common. I like many others used a grandparents name for a middle name and two generations ago May was a popular first name. Just like Rose, and Grace.)
