That's right Dub. Hunfriend doesn't hun herself, gluezilla hunned her on Facebook in response to a pointed post she made.

Thanks Tidy, that is what I figured. I think I posted on one of the earlier threads, but just want to say again, well done, you have been so dignified throughout, and handled things well. Will be looking forward to updates after Friday.

I would interpret 'being dumped on at the last minute' as having a whole load of expectations dumped on you in an 'emergency' ... Not suddenly being disinvited from an event. Does your Facebook friend live in your area OP? Maybe her other friend was saying at least she's get a weekend away from it because GZ has offered to accommodate her in your town so she an decorate. Hence wanting to meet up with you for drinks?

A fourth thread is a must really. And I will have to put it on Watch too, because it will need updating whenever the TackyThemeWedding? takes place. Y'know, just in case anything else hilarious/batshit happens!

Trouble is, we need an insider to find out what happened about the decorations, how they turned out and what the 'theme' looked like!!!

What Tidy needs to do is to sneak round to the reception venue whilst the ceremony is in progress - that's assuming the ceremony and reception are in different places - then she can get a first hand look for herself. This is what you need, Tidy

1. Ninja disguise
2. Step ladder - in case the windows are too high too see through
3. Binoculars - so you can get a real good look at the decorations
4. Camera

5. Thermal camera, to spot the cold-blooded bride Godzilla, and her family, amongst the guests, who are all burning with embarrassment in their costumes!

I now have this vision of Tidy sneaking around and spying - a bit like Miss Mapp - in Mapp & Lucia

Tidy, this is so much better than any soap opera. I bloody love this saga (sorry, I know it's your actual life!) I love all of you lot too. Hugs all around!

Who was the poster who set up Playmobil figures in different scenarios, then put up photos of them? I think I need to do that with sylvanians.

2 weeks I've been away on holiday with no wifi... Just spent an hour updating myself and there is no conclusion yet!!!! Should maybe go and empty car / do laundry / feed children etc...

Hollywood Sylvanians or Playmobile, even better
