To think I have had best (or worst) bad baby advice, ever?

I'm having trouble with my 5 month DD waking herself up tossing and turning at night. My DF's brilliant advice was to get some baby reins, wrap them around her mattress and then clip her into them to stop her wriggling around.

I can't see how that could possible go wrong Hmm I'm amazed I made to adulthood. Grin

I was very nearly tempted to put a rabbit water feeder on the cot bars when DS1 kept waking and demanding "wa!" in the night.

He was a very active and proficient crawler. I may have used reins and attached a (new) 3m dog lead for public crawling- the proper strap was too short. Blush I never lost him though! Grin

I saw this done in a local country park, it was hilarious!

family sitting picnicking, with determined crawler - mum unclipped the extendi-lead from the dogs collar, and onto the backloop of the escapees trousers.
Dog doesn't move, crawler reaches the extent of the lead and then starts circling the picnic blanket, quite happy and safe Grin
