John Inverdale is a twunt. He's also a crap sports presenter. I still shudder at his presenting at the Olympics where he asked Michael Johnson why a Jamaican athlete insisted on having dreadlocks, told him that surely he should chop them off to make him more aerodynamic. The look Michael Johnson gave him made me squirm!

The BBC need to rethink their sports presenters. Let John Inverdale stick to rugby, at least he knows a little about rugby (although IMO he wasn't much of a player). The Olympics was a prime example of how wrong they got it with the exception of Clare Balding for the swimming who had obviously researched thoroughly what she was presenting on.

Will he be presenting the men's final today? I wonder if he'll have comment to make on the appearance of Djokovic or Murray?

John Inverdale has been basically saying this for days. I often listen to Wimbledon in the car on Five Live. I said to my DH a few days ago that he is having a go at Bartolli's appearance every chance he can get. Have just listened online to 4 July coverage -3 days ago! at 7m27 "you don't have to be 6 foot with a blond pony tail to get to the top"
