Yes posh butlins.

It's still dirty and overcrowded and full of overpriced crap, but you pay extra so you can be assured there will be no chavs impinging on your good time.

ilovechips · 06/07/2013 09:43

m.centerparcs.co.uk/booknow/WebServlet

PatPig · 06/07/2013 09:44

Not £4.5k at all, sorry.

23rd August £1728 in a Comfort, £1728 in a Comfort Plus, £1808 in a Woodland Lodge, £1828 in an exec 2 storey, £2028 in an exec lodge.

All 2 bed.

The most expensive accommodation, exec 4 bed villa is £3348. Which is a lot, but it's not what you said, and it's not for 2 adults and a toddler, it's designed for two families to share I believe.

pictish · 06/07/2013 09:47

I think £1728 is still a phenomenal amount!

soapboxqueen · 06/07/2013 09:47

I love Center parcs. I think the 4.5k would have been for the tree house or similar. they are very expensive.

Growlithe · 06/07/2013 09:48

Still daft money PatPig.

lemontwist · 06/07/2013 09:48

Are you sure thats right. Ive just done a search with those criteria and you can get the exec penthouse for approx £1300!

katydid02 · 06/07/2013 09:49

£1668 is the price quoted for a week at Longleat in a standard villa from Friday 1st August.

£4000 would get you a week in an exclusive 4 bedroom lodge for 8 people.

lemontwist · 06/07/2013 09:50

Sorry x post. Agreed still silly money though consideringt the cost of alternative hoidays.

sweetsummerlove · 06/07/2013 09:54

try BLUESTONE WALES ...so much newer and better than CP and much cheaper! Paid 250 for 4 adults/2 children in march, mon-fri. it was sooo good.

landofsoapandglory · 06/07/2013 09:58

We're going to Majorca for a week for £1200, that's 2 adults and a 16yo.

It never ceases to amaze me how much holiday companies put their prices up in school holidays. It's daylight robbery IMO.

Vivacia · 06/07/2013 10:00

I don't understand the outrage.

Branleuse · 06/07/2013 10:04

its a quarter of that for a 4day break in elveden.

centerparcs is lovely off season when you can get a good price and weve been a few times, but i wouldnt pay that much in a million years

floatyjosmum · 06/07/2013 10:20

We've discovered the only way it's affordable is to go midweek during term time!

malteserzz · 06/07/2013 10:23

I love center parcs but wouldn't pay that, we normally go in one of the half terms look for the cheapest one ! Can't wait till the new one opens at Woburn so we can try there

bruffin · 06/07/2013 10:36

its a mistake a standard is about 1.5k not 4.5k

PearlyWhites · 06/07/2013 12:47

Mortified have you done a lot of prices because the website will " remember you" and charge you more try clearing the cache.

MortifiedAdams · 06/07/2013 12:49

Never thought about the cache but it is a works computer so dont how many other people have looked.

A guy in the office suggested it; I put in all the right info and pressed search. He nearly fell off his chair too.

Woburn is open for bookings now, it has been for a couple of weeks at least.

perplexedpirate · 06/07/2013 13:12

Whaaaaatttt?! I had no idea it was that kind of price.
How do they justify that???

Sizzlesthedog · 06/07/2013 13:18

Yes I think the price goes up every time you look at the site. Same with all holidays. Boggling how they manage that one. Imagine if every online shop did that!

IsaacCox · 06/07/2013 13:20

Shock We can go to Florida and stay on Disney property for two weeks for that! Plus money left over.

We went to Centre Parks over new year last year (3 nights) for £500ish. Can't remember exactly. It's good but it's not 4.5K good.
