to be a bit freaked out by this blood?

Ok, so I'm on the pill, have been for 5 years, period always comes 2 days after I start the 7 day break and I never bleed inbetween.

Only missed one pill this month but i'm on the combined pill and took it with the next one (have done this before and never had an issue).

So on/off today there's been this weird dark red/brown discharge (scuse the TMI) coming away (only when I wipe) and I've had a few cramps this week too that seemed weird.

It shouldn't be breakthrough bleeding as I missed that pill 2 weeks ago.

Would I be OTT to go to the GP and ask what's going on? I've never had a smear so am a bit freaked out.

Also did a test today in case and was a bfn so it can't be that...or not yet at least.

Would appreciate any replies. I am cacking it Shock

it's barely there though! If I took a picture I don't even think you'd see it tbh. Bu i've never had an evap like that on that brand test before.

I've read that superdrug can give slightly pink evaps though?

Will test again in a few days as I think i'll be a nervous wreck if I wait for my AF.

Oh buggeration

Ah I just read the bit where you said you were also 3 days late starting this pack. I am stunned your GP said this didn't matter - I'm afraid it does matter. Hugely. As the poster above said, it massively increases your risk of pregnancy. The pill is fabulous but it has to be taken in accordance with instructions to work.

Late starting pack, plus a missed pill, then a ?implantation bleed, and a now faint positive on a test - you know it's looking like you are pregnant...

To be fair the pill isn't right for everyone, and where you say "it's been ok so many times before" when you've missed one, I think maybe you should look at perhaps the implant or injection in the future? No danger of forgetting then. Good luck OP, I hope things work out how you want them to Flowers

I did wonder if he even knew what she was talking about or listening? It was an emergency appnt and she just said 'have you had rough sex lately' and that it was probably rougher than I realized.

It was a line that you had to peer at iykwim? I'm not convinced on that front yet. Isn't it quite late to implant? I started my new pack on the 3rd of June and am nearly finished now Confused

I've had an implant (bled for 9 weeks and ended up with anemia) but if I am up the duff I am seriously having a coil.

Thanks for the replies. I'm aware of how dumb this sounds Blush

Is the pain central? Brown bleeding is a sign of ectopic, which is apparently more likely if you fall PG on the pill. It really is worth getting checked out as soon as possible.

It's low down and central and also slowly going away as far as I can tell.

Get the odd back twinge, like during AF.

Not really sure what to do.

Have taken painkillers so that's ok and have stopped bleeding but I don't want to talk to DP about it yet (he knows about the pain/bleed but has no idea why) & my closest friend is on holiday atm.

Know I just need to wait and see if I have my AF & if this becomes a regular thing or was just a weird one off but it's easier said than done. I think I've worried myself ill... Hmm
