To think that it is completely tedious and boring to be at home?

Hi

I'm new to this. In fact I'm not a mother, or even a wife anymore - so hope you don't mind me gatecrashing?

I normally work full time (hell I normally work at least 60 hours a week!) and now I'm stuck at home with a serious chest infection and I have absolutely no idea what to do with myself. No-one to talk to. My partner/boyfriend/whatever he is doesn't even know I'm ill because he hasn't been in touch since last Friday (and only then to tell me he was going to visit family). Haven't seen him for nearly 3 weeks anyway cos he's always so busy with work/sport.

So feeling really fed up and sorry for myself and despite the crappiness of being ill really wish I was in my office :-(

I'm totally useless at knitting - but have found MN strangely addictive! Also drawing. I think, more than anything, I'll be glad to get back to work and really have a better understanding of people who can't. Take care.

Have a go at crochet then, I'm shite at crochet but knit dinosaurs like they are going extinct again!
