Which reminds me, that awful, softly-spoken, jolly midwife that wanted to put on whale music during some poor woman's labour on OBEM - after seeing her I lived in fear that I would encounter some such limp rag during my labour. She looks like she has sweaty palms, barf.

I feel a bit bad about that midwife actually as she is a real person but she really was a nightmare.

I had a distrubing dream about Kelvin McKenzie last night. He put his arm round me and I put my head on his shoulder and then I woke up. Yes, I was pouring with sweat.

Don't know where that dream came from. I've never dreamt about him before and I hope never to do so again.

I also had one about Alistair Campbell which went a bit further. That wasn't quite so upsetting. He didn't shout at me and tell me I was doing sex wrong, which was a bit of a surprise.

Please God, if I ever dream about Richard Littlejohn, let me die in my sleep without knowing anything about it.

I think I know where the McKenzie dream came from. I was watching The Daily Politics the other day and there was a clip of a previous interview between McKenzie, Andrew Neil and a frothing loon who was ranting about the EU or immigration or something.

McKenzie came over as the soul of reason by contrast.
