Last thing at night is a bad idea? I've been enjoying watching it, looking forward to seeing it, and have to wait until after the DC are in bed before we watch but it's giving me weird dreams....

Read all the books first tho sadly the films don't quite follow the storylines all the time - one huge story they changed the outcome in the tv series :(

God, I HATE the books. Dreadful tosh. The series is much better, in the same way the True Blood series is MUCH better than the Sookie Stackhouse books ...

I like the hotness that is Dexter so it doesn't bother me before bed and I'm currently reading the books, but those other two-bloody creepy.

OP I'm so jealous, you have all that Dexter to come and I'm stuck waiting for the new season!

Dark I think I prefer the True Blood books myself, but really all they have in common is some of the same characters.

Lol, Mia, we ran out of CSI, I can handle them. The Walking Dead, I've only seen one episode but that is certainly not something I'd like to sleep after :)

You could handle CSI?? shivers The one with the intruder living in her ceiling really freaked me out, I kept waking up lol. Walking dead only gets better and worse :)

CSI That's like the soft porn of gory TV imo, they show re-runs of it during the day. Criminal Minds is reaallllyy good, not gory either.

Dexter is a gruesome one. I did get into it a while back then it got to series 3 or 4 and I got a bit tired of it. He kills bad people though which sort of makes it justified But I don't know.. It just got a little tired. I did have a weird dream about it though so you're not alone!

I really like Criminal Minds. Is it really bad that I'd like to see what the BAU make of Dexter?

Again, we're behind on CSI, only up to end of 7 with Vegas, 3 or 4 Miami and 3 NY. We are watching through the physical media (real DVDs!) before starting on the downloads. I think the difference is that CSI is impersonal whereas Dexter is involving you in his personal thoughts. That's what disturbs me the most!

That and Breaking Bad have been my 2 favourite shows of recent years. You really should try that next. It's on Netflix.
