To find myself using the word Cunt far more thanks to Mumsnet?

Usually I am the one that friends come to for advice, usually I would say (regardless of gender) if the other person is being a prick then call them a prick..... no sliding scale. Since MN if they are being a cunt I say it?
Some, shall we call them beneficiaries of my advice are shocked, have I become immune to the word or is it still shocking?

You are being a bit of a cunt for even thinking this way.

Hashtagwhatever · 09/06/2013 21:24

It is my favourite word.

peppapigmustdie · 09/06/2013 21:25

ok, I never meant to sorry, I was only meaning my terminology had changed.Confused

I realise now that beneficiaries was the wrong word Shock I meant people that ask for my advice and I give it to with no prompting.

That Redbindy is a wooden spoon wielding cunt, and so are you OP. Grin Mind you I'm a cunt too. Embrace it, it's reclaiming the language for our very cuntish own.

kennyp · 09/06/2013 21:28

my hairdresser said to me last week "see you next Tuesday" and I said to her "stop calling me a cunt". luckily she laughed.

I use the word regularly. numerous times a day.

squoosh · 09/06/2013 21:28

Frontbottom offends me, cunt does not.

ExitPursuedByABear · 09/06/2013 21:28

I never use it.

Wishiwasanheiress · 09/06/2013 21:29

Hate the word. Might use the Tuesday technique occaisionally in a year but I don't find reading mn makes me want to embrace it.

BarredfromhavingStella · 09/06/2013 21:30

It's a fucking fabulous word (my favourite), use it freely & frequently.

peppapigmustdie · 09/06/2013 21:31

Kleptronic happy to be a cunt, not so happy to be a wooden spoon wielder!

ExitPursuedByABear · 09/06/2013 21:32

I don't understand the Tuesday reference

Help!

Hashtagwhatever · 09/06/2013 21:33

C.u.n.t see you next Tuesday

peppapigmustdie · 09/06/2013 21:35

It as actually a genuine question, I find myself using it far more after 4 years of Mumsnet then ever before. Friends still find it shocking, so wondered if it was due to mn ? reasonable question or not!?

I love the word cunt. Most satisfying.

ExitPursuedByABear · 09/06/2013 21:36

Oh Blush

How thick am I.?

squoosh · 09/06/2013 21:36

You just have a lovely clean mind Exit!

peppapigmustdie · 09/06/2013 21:37

ExitPersuedByABear, I will see you next Tuesday

OP posts:
kennyp · 09/06/2013 21:37

agree with sqooosh - frontbottom is REVOLTING, imo.

oooh, and if someone says "there's no I in team" ... you can reply with "but there's a YOU in cunt". end of, as they say.

ExitPursuedByABear · 09/06/2013 21:38

ExitPursuedByABear · 09/06/2013 21:39

We use front bottom.

Exits.

cardamomginger · 09/06/2013 21:39

Me too. I never used to use it. I like twunt as well, but never use it as I've never come across it other than on MN so don't know how widespread it is.

DollyClothespeg · 09/06/2013 21:42

I'm always on Mumsnet and have been for a couple of years in various guises. Can honestly say I've never felt the need to use that word. It's vile.
Far better to get your point across and show your displeasure without the use of it IMO!

kennyp · 09/06/2013 21:42

what a bloody gorgeous thread. full of cunts and frontbottoms. such a calming way to spend a sunday night. Grin
