Usually I am the one that friends come to for advice, usually I would say (regardless of gender) if the other person is being a prick then call them a prick..... no sliding scale. Since MN if they are being a cunt I say it?
Some, shall we call them beneficiaries of my advice are shocked, have I become immune to the word or is it still shocking?

Hate hate hate the word. A friend of ours who punctuates conversations with swear words apologised for swearing with the 'c' word yesterday. I would hate it if it became a normal swear word and yes, I know that probably sounds irrational but its how I feel.
