She's a pop star ffs. Total non-story.
The concept of sex and drugs and rock and roll is one even our most straightlaced grandparents "got". Or has anyone forgotten the death of Elvis, Little Richard, most of the jazz greats, etc, etc ad nauseum?
Compared to Cheryl Cole, (remember the racist violet assualt on a nightclub toilet attendant anyone?) or the antics of the Ozbournes, (Sharon's history isn't one I'd want my daughter to emulate) she's almost angelic. If the press have had to go to these sneaky lengths to get some dirt on her then she can't be THAT bad.
Given how the press can and will twist things that are said wildly out of context if it suits their purpose, then an admission from a rich N.Londoner (who btw earns their livings from one of the most dissolute industries on earth) that they know where to procure a substance familiar to anyone who attends a public school birthday party where the parents aren't in attendance is dumb.
What's with all the "chav" insults? She's working class, earns her living by honest means (unlike the bankers), and pays her taxes, (unlike many of her "betters"). So you don't like her accent, attitude or clothes? Turn off the TV.
I'm getting really sick of the constant demonetisation of the indigenous UK working class at a time when so many are suffering through no fault of their own due to the abysmal economic climate as the fat cats get fatter. The opportunities out there for our young people who don't have nepotism or daddies money to fall back on are grim & getting grimmer by the day.
