I have 2 DDs and we've never bought any Playmobil for them...just not really been attracted. But yesterday I saw the ad for the Take Along House and thought it looked lovely for DD aged 5...looked at the price a HUNDRED pounds! Shock It's not massive or anything so why so expensive!?

Here it is Do you think it's worth the price?

Love the idea of a Lego pyramid too, although Lego doesn't stay built for long in this house before being dismantled into something different (apart from DH's hobbit scene on top of the piano... now there was a Father's Day gift that went down well!) - I know some people superglue Lego together but surely that should be against the law

super gluing lego! Confused now that's Just wrong, yeah i agree it should be against the law.
Watching our kids breaking lego apart and building new things is all part of the fun and surely has to be good for developing creativity and design skills.

I go Playmobil crazy on eBay - have got way more than my son needs but I am saving it up for birthday/Christmas. It keeps really well, is suitable for quite a wide age group, and is just a brilliant toy for imaginative play.
