My mother thinks I'm trying to poison my dcs I think

Surely as an occasional meal about 4 times a year it's not that bad?

Guess what we're having for brunch? Grin

mrsjay · 11/05/2013 12:42

we call it french toast I love it and it is fine and tasty tea for anynight imo Grin I like it savoury I cant get my head round people having it with sugar or syrup

Oldraver · 11/05/2013 12:45

Does she think you are supposed to cook on Friday nights, surely most people have something simple fends for themselves

Skelacia · 11/05/2013 13:32

YANBU. That's exactly what my DCs got for dinner last night, it always goes down well and a meal that gets eaten with no arguing always beats one that has to have every forkful negotiated!

bigkidsdidit · 11/05/2013 13:34

lovely :)

why does my eggy bread come out soggy?

thebody · 11/05/2013 13:37

Sounds delicious.

mrsjay · 11/05/2013 13:38

your pan isn't hot enough if it is soggy you need to leave it to cook and not keep turning it, ( i have bitter soggyness experience)

mrsjay · 11/05/2013 13:39

actually one of my favourite dinners is sausage bacon egg and chips oh and beans and tomato and a mushroom I could really go that now

trixymalixy · 11/05/2013 13:41

I would swap the beans for maple syrup, mmmm.

Have nt had eggy bread for ages...

KatieScarlett2833 · 11/05/2013 13:41

I drooled a little bit just reading your post OP Grin
( happiness is knowing you have all the ingredients in the fridge, plus tomatoes, beans and tattie scones)
