This has been playing on my mind. She's lovely, a friend but not a close friend iywim, our kids get together, we spend time having coffee and stuff at each others houses

There is a distinct 'cat pee' smell in her house, do I say anything?

I don't want to make things awkward or embaress her but it's there

Would you tell her if you were me?

If you are my friend - please tell me!
I would be very embarrassed to have a friend tell me my house smells. But I'd be mortified to think that successive visitors are all noticing a smell that I don't know about.

To be honest, this is something I'm paranoid about anyway. I have multiple cats, so I'm aware my house probably does smell. But other than immediately after feeding, vomiting or a particularly offensive litter tray use, I can't smell anything. I'd love to walk into my house with an honest stranger's nose, so I can tell whether my house really is fine, or whether friends and family all think I'm a dirty slattern with a house that constantly stinks of animals and piss! I wouldn't tell her unless she asks - but if she asks then definitely tell her.

Our two used to piss everywhere and we really tried to keep on top of it - we would ask (close) family and friends if it smelt and they always breezily said 'oh no! not at all'..
