Am i just old and prude or is it ok to be offended when the person walking in front of you is wearing leggings as trousers, thin leggings,see through leggings and everything is on show?why wouodnt these girls get some either thicker ones or wear a top that covers their ass?cringe.super oober cringe.

YANBU - and the problem with the 'tights and short top' combination is you suddenly find your attention is drawn willy-nilly to the, usually wobbly (and hopefully be-knickered), backside in front of you.

I too admire people who wear what they want, but, it has to be said, only when it suits them.

I don't think it's very nice for people to comment loudly about it within earshot of the person. There's not a lot they can do about it if they haven't already realised so what's the point? It sounds snidey and it is. Perhaps the people making the loud comments are enjoying a good old salacious gawp?

A woman I used to work with did this all the time, walking through town with her husband and having a laugh at 'inappropriate dress'... her husband didn't seem to share her views although he used to nod and do the 'yes dear' thing... lecherous to a fault, his eyes were always on stalks.

Gaah - by 'suits' I meant 'looks good' not that they have taken a vagary to do so.

I see this often; why do women & girls wear leggings with short tops?

And why do both men & women wear trousers / jeans with the waistband so low that their arse crack shows when they bend down??

Leggings are fine if they are worn like tights - ie. the bum is covered by a jumper dress or short skirt for example.

AKiss - count yourself very, very fortunate - once seen, it cannot be unseen (bit like dragon butter et al).

Leggings should be worn as tights not trousers. I can't understand why anyone would assume differently and seeing someone's arse/knickers through their leggings isn't a good look regardless of age/size.

I've done a double take at those flesh coloured leggings before too. Again they were worn as trousers. It looked like she had only dressed the top half of her body.

YANBU. And you are not old, I also don't want to see buttocks, breasts, scrotum, etc. in public.

It's not pleasant but you can always look away.
