Were at the zoo today (non-pupil day here in Suffolk and lovely weather) and ended up walking past the zebra enclosure to find the zebras seriously at it. They watched in horror all the way to the end and ever since I have heard nothing but 1)grossed out comments about zebra sex, 2) questions about whether other animals do it in the same way (including whales Confused) and 3) the stated intention never, ever to have sex.

I am being unreasonable to find it all utterly hilarious, aren't I?

I can't believe it's still going! It's as if witnessing zoo sex is a rite of passage of some sort...

We almost got weed on at Banham too, the first time we went there - having toddlers at the time I fortunately recognised the signs of imminent deluge and had the DDs back off. Another family was not so observant Grin.

Cycle I'm beginning to feel that having started this thread is going to be my Good Deed for the week. Enjoy...

I saw a chinchilla giving himself some... Erm... Oral pleasure in the pet shop recently! Fortunately no small children around!

pointythings · 17/04/2013 21:52

sallysparrow wouldn't it be nice if we could do that too?

I feel like I'm missing out, in all my zoo visits to Colchester and banham I've never seen animal sex.

Keep trying, State! Grin. Maybe it'll happen when your youngest is a proper toddler and in just the right frame of mind to ask aaaallll those awkward questions...

He certainly seemed to be enjoying himself!!

My favourite zoo visit was when a marmoset ran along an overhead cage, it joined cages either side of the pathway, merrily peeing on my DStD as he went. Grin

Im sure the older two would love to answer all her questions by then pointy.

Although my big two must be the only children on earth to just accept i was pregnant and then the baby was here without one question!!

Wow! Did Daddy not really hurt your back when he did that to you? He's much bigger than you!"

Grin love it!

Oh this thread has made me laugh!

Went to Paington Zoo with DH and a couple of friends once during term time - so the only people there were adults and pre-school children.

There was quite the crowd at the monkey island, all having a good laugh at the monkey sex Grin
