AIBU?
To chuck water on their cats?

Next door neighbours cats I have discovered havebeen using our top bit of garden as a toilet.
I'd planned for that to be a swing/slide area for the 2 dds, had saved their Christmas money to buy toys for summer, now it is coated every step in shit. They aren't even burying it. I'm going to have to shovel it all out and it stinks.
I know they can't control their cats, we've tried lion stuff, , pepper, plants they are supposed to hate, blocking fence gaps and nothing has worked.
AIBU to lob a jug of water over them every time they venture shitwards until they stop coming in the garden?

Well I know some people will tell you that Yabu but I have two cats and I wouldn't object to you throwing water at them. They are a pain in the backside for pooing everywhere. I wouldn't want someone to hurt them but but water wouldn't bother me.
Please stand by with the water jug in case we get flamed!

We have "the nasty cat" - a huge bengal cat - which stalks our little cat and tries to get into our house (we have microchip cat flap though)
Have been trying to get him with water for months, got him a beauty last week, he was staring into our house through the cat flat and I chucked a glass of water straight into his face through the flap.
I have a cat, I lover her, I don't want her bullied. I did not hurt the other at, I just give him the fright of his life. And I'll do it again given half the chance.
So go for it OP - and YY to nerf gun!

I would also recommend one of those massive water guns - the reach is far better. Water won't injure them so I wouldn't worry about that (cat owner here too).
Or what about those electronic things that you can get where they can't stand the noise it makes but you can't hear it? Prob v expensive though.

I have a cat and wouldnt mind you chucking water at her if she went to the loo in your garden. But my cat is weird, she only goes in a little bit of our garden and only visits one neighbour for a fuss.
Maybe I have trained her well.
Also a nice cat/dog person.
