I know he's got a lot of fans but is anyone else just a little bit tired of seeing/hearing David Tennant all the time?

He's on everything. adverts/voiceovers/dramas/the lot.

i even bought DC a dvd of pirates cartoon instead of an easter egg and he was on that TOO!

theres always a 'flavour of the month' where the same persons all the time on tv and radio and mags- the myclean asses, carol voderman,etc etc get their 15 mins of fame but DT....come on!

you can tell Im soooo not a fan.

as the doctor, well, he was avarage, thankfully we have the brill Matt Smith now, DCs watching 'how to train your dragon' atm on cbbc and i swear his voice is on this too!!!!!

marjproops he wasn't there thank goodness nor was he on the radio show I had on while I was cooking

I'm watching Broadchurch and trying hard not to be annoyed by him!

I love him but the adverts seem unnecessary. Think he's brilliant in Broadchurch though.

I have however watched How to Train Your Dragon many times and haven't yet worked out which character he is - can you enlighten me marg?

true, but the man's just making a living while the going is good, and your telly has an off switch!

TV recorder boxes - best thing ever, no need to watch adverts ever again.

I liked him before Doctor Who, etc, so I just think it's nice he's finally getting recognition.

I don't like him much and I agree he's overexposed.

Having said that, I quite fancy like him in Broadchurch

He mumbles in Broadchurch in a Scottish accent- i have no idea what he is saying.
He doesn't do it for me.
James Nesbitt is another one who i just can't see the attraction of.
However i'd take mumbly Tennant over big headed Nesbitt

I think he is fabulous at voices.....DS and I are listening to the How to Train Your Dragon books and the variety of voices he does is fabulous.

...and am loving Broadchurch.

mavisgrinddidnt see which character he was in HTTYD wasnt watching it, DC was but his voice is unmistakeable!

Thanks marg - I've now googled which character and when I inevitably watch it again I will know who to look for! I'm fairly well tuned to DTs dulcet tones however I've never been able to hear him in that.

If you're not happy with over exposure now - the Christmas he left DW was far worse as he was on all the BBC idents too. Even I got sick of him then (for a little bit)

Hes awesome in broadchurch - I havent seen him in anything else atall since doctor who - id like him in more stuff.

my friend loves him and I don't get it at all. he's not attractive for a sleb. i mean if he lived next door to you he might seem attractive in the real world, but on tv? very ordinary.

Ah the key is not to watch adverts - I never watch them so have missed out clearly - i guess the only way to make adverts watchable is to have a hugely hot David Tenant in them.

Although I think bitching about poor David is very mean, I do have to thank this thread as I got to dream about him last night - I was in broadchurch it was great :)

A friend of mine met him in real life at the height of his Doctor Who fame. He was utterly lovely and kind and happy to have a photo taken. I've heard that the crew really liked him too.
