To be gutted that I can't go to see One Direction on Friday?

I have One Direction tickets for Friday.
I also have an illness/disability which means I'm not really well enough to go.
I bought the tickets, DD didn't ask for them, they were more for me, they were bought over a year ago, but of course she wants to go too.

If I take her, I might get ill, or panicky, or just not manage and have to leave, which means DD misses out, so I have to accept I can't go, and a friend will take DD.

I love Harry Sad

At least my ears are fine even if my lungs aren't!
Hope yours are better soon.

Have you got antib's mad?
I just had another course of Clarythramycin the week before last.

I'm on Ciprofloxacin Netto

Looking less and less likely that I'll be able to go. feel like utter shit.

Hate this disease.

Hope your ears are ok Euphemia

I've not heard of that one, I must ask for it next time, as I don't think any of the others work anymore, I just have to wait it out but get all of the horrid anti b side effects.

Fingers crossed though, you still have two days.

I know what you mean - most don't work for me. Cipro is for pseudomonas, it is about the only one that works on me apart from IVs now.

I have rung the LG arena and they've been so lovely - arranged for me to hire a wheelchair between the entrance and the seating as it's too much of a walk for me, and advised me not to stop for food in the arena as it will be manic/standing room only, so we're stopping on the way at a pub then getting there just before the start, hope there is some blue badge parking left. Feeling rough but desperate to go, will let you know. So sorry you couldn't....this has happened so many times. It's a life of disappointments :( - unMNetty hugs for you.

NettoSuperstar · 16/04/2013 17:13

I will ask for that one next time, I generally tell the doctors what I want/need now and they give it to me!

The SECC could have hired me a chair too, but the problem for me was getting from the car to the medical centre, and DD wasn't confident about getting it and then bringing it to the car, nor was she confident enough to push me in my chair and we'd get the train.
As it happens, the lift at Partick station was not working so we'd have had real problems there.

Anyway, as rubbish as it is for me, DD did have a great time, and I think it showed her that it's not just her school plays I miss, or being able to take her places, I miss things that are really important to me but will sacrifice them for her.

Still keeping fingers crossed, and sending you hugs too.

Well I got to go, thanks to the LG staff being wonderful. They sorted me out a wheelchair then put us on the wheelchair platform - dd and her friend were totally wide eyed as we were so close to the centre stage bit when 1D came out into that part - dd was all 'Harry waved to me!' Grin - It was a really good show, lots of humour and interest in it, thoroughly enjoyed. Paying for it today! So sorry you didn't get to go, Netto, but glad your dd did and enjoyed it.

Liked 5 seconds of summer too, and the girls liked Camryn.

Bumping.
Anyone trying for tickets on Saturday?
I spent bloody hours on the phone today, total pain, but I have a special number to call for wheelchair tickets.
I swear I will make it this time.
