To be gutted that I can't go to see One Direction on Friday?

I have One Direction tickets for Friday.
I also have an illness/disability which means I'm not really well enough to go.
I bought the tickets, DD didn't ask for them, they were more for me, they were bought over a year ago, but of course she wants to go too.

If I take her, I might get ill, or panicky, or just not manage and have to leave, which means DD misses out, so I have to accept I can't go, and a friend will take DD.

I love Harry Sad

Totally fingers crossed here too op.

TickleMyTitsTillFriday · 11/04/2013 17:28

Can I reassure you by saying I went to see them last month as was massively disappointed?

I love harry too

NettoSuperstar · 11/04/2013 17:34

There's nothing they can do which will help enough at this late minute.
Not their fault I must add, and they were very lovely.
One last possibility is to take my own chair and get the train, but that's probably too much for me, will decide tomorrow though.

Why were you disappointed Tickle? Harry is mine btw

Hope you manage to make it xx

NettoSuperstar · 11/04/2013 18:41

Me too, not only because I am desperate to go, but all the MNetters going will be disappointed when Harry is sad all night as I'm not there.

NettoSuperstar · 13/04/2013 17:23

I didn't go, |I just wasn't up to it Sad
My friend's 17yr old took DD and they had a great time, they phoned me so I could listen to a song, and brought me back a wristband.

I'm gutted, but it was the right thing to do.

DD has a sore throat today!

Groovee · 13/04/2013 17:29

I took DD to see them on Easter Sunday and was impressed too - they really looked like they were having a ball and sang loads of songs. The screaming girls to get on my wick after a while though.

NettoSuperstar · 14/04/2013 06:59

I'll be better prepared next time and book a place on the wheelchair platform and a hotel.
DD has not shut up about them since Envy

£25 for dd's t-shirt and the bloke in M&S was lucky not to get a slap with his rudeness. Dd is 13 no need to be so rude.

I felt that Harry looked bored. The others made it up for him. I think they are genuinely lovely guys.

Now Camryn... I thought she was 20/30's. I was stunned to discover she was 13!!! She was born 1999. I think I need my eyes tested.

I did like 5 seconds of summer. They were fab.

NettoSuperstar · 14/04/2013 09:41

DD wants my Harry doll, she is not getting itGrin
I might buy myself a t-shirt too.

So sorry you didn't get to go, Netto, but glad dd enjoyed it.

We're looking forward to wednesday, though I have a chest infection so hoping like mad I have the strength. Sounds like it will be a good show!
