AIBU?

To only want white toilet roll in my house?

DP has bought peach toilet roll.

It is on the toilet roll holder.

It is making my teeth itch every time I walk past.

Toilet roll needs to be white. Coloured loo roll is the work of the devil.

At least he has hung it the right way round, though.

YANBU, since having a white tiled bathroom I have only bought white toilet roll. People who buy pastel coloured toilet roll may as well have a knitted crinoline lady to cover it up or worse still a knitted poodle.

I go to m&s specifically to buy their white loo rolls with silver stars on.....don't do coloured roll though.

or worse still a knitted poodle

I read that as knitted paedophile Blush

I've relegated the peach stuff to 'emergency only' and swapped out for white. Feel much better now.

YANBU - he is even so evil that he is putting your health at risk, those colours, & I believe especially the nastiest ones such as peach - gives you thrush you knowWink

I believe it is referred to as "champagne" coloured, not peach.

"Bog roll" is indeed acceptable, chickensaladagain. It's extremely lofty and educated to be amused by scatological matters, viz the (Monty) Python boys' Oxbridge backgrounds!

It's illegal to have coloured arse roll.

Apparently some of the coloured ones have nasty chemicals which were said to increase all sorts of health risks.better a bit of bleach I think Grin

YANBU - coloured paper is awful. Especially the blue stuff, it makes me worry I'm diseased.

paperworry I love the shea butter stuff, but the brown wrapper is just wrong.

When I was little my mum bought this shiny hard paper sort. It had a specially treated non absorbent shiny surface. I wont elaborate on its performance. Even that was white thoughSmile

I haven't bought white toilet roll for years due to the chlorine bleach.

RFLMum That was Izal! My Great Aunt had it as did my primary school. anything that came into contact with it just slid off again as I remember... fairly disgusting but it said "medicated" on the box so I think people thought it was more hygienic. They were so, so wrong.....

White bog roll only here. And white towels. I also have a strong white bed linen theme. I possibly have issues..,

YANBU Loo roll needs to be white. However, I thought that peach coloured loo paper was supposed to be more eco - friendly.

Remove the peach loo roll, stick it in a cupboard somewhere. Replace with correctly hung white paper.

There will come a day when the norovirus hits on the same day as 'flu AND your local corner shop is closed due to a rabies outbreak. You'll be jolly glad of it then...

We would have this lavatory paper in our house if we could afford to buy it.
