To keep farting on the cat?

Don't get me wrong, I am not pinning her down and doing it or anything. I am curled up on the sofa and she has got in the nook between my bum and knees. I have terrible wind. She did move but just to turn her back to me. Should I move her knowing it will probably not get any better soon, or just let her make her own choice?
I have got some dreamies which might ease her pain.

Friend's cat acts really shy and embarrassed if anyone watches her do her business in the litter box.

So when I'm feeling immature I stick my head around the corner and watch Grin

Love it.

the cat may look mildly offended. If you find that the dog gets up and leaves the room in disgust, you REALLY have a problem.

Smellslikecatspee · 06/04/2013 23:06

Poor Cat, however ours has a fine range is SBDs and as the smell wafts around she fixes me ME with a evil and then flounces off!

Alliwantisaroomsomewhere · 06/04/2013 23:11

Dh farted on the guinea pigs tonight. It must be the New Saturday Night thing to do.

MrsPeeWee · 06/04/2013 23:13

Heh Heh Grin OP, it's so refreshing to see such a light hearted thread around her lately.

I don't doubt how concerned you are for your kitty though Grin Grin

MsVestibule · 06/04/2013 23:30

coppertop Thanks so much for linking - can't believe I missed it first time round! It's rare I actually laugh out loud at I thread, but I did several times on that one!

2old2beamum · 06/04/2013 23:44

LetMeAtTheWine I think the cat will forgive you providing you didn't follow through Grin
Thanks for making me laugh Smile

Meerkatwhiskers · 07/04/2013 11:48

Sorry i went out after posting last night. It's a simple verbal warning of 'i'm about to fart, you may wish to move'. It's usually ignored. Of course it's probably above her intelligence level and i'm expecting a bit much of her to actually understand the warning but still it's there and in place. She's a skittish cat so the loud ones send her running anyway Grin

KC225 · 07/04/2013 13:00

Meerkat: Perhaps, if you blow a raspberry in her direction, it may give her a more of a clue

Meerkatwhiskers · 07/04/2013 13:36

Perhaps you are right! Or call the dog in. That will get her moved pretty sharpish lol.

kal452 · 07/04/2013 17:27

I'm a little confused as to why anyone would want to post on a forum such a story. Is this a joke?

2old2beamum · 07/04/2013 18:13

Of course would anyone really fart at a beautiful cat Grin

GrowSomeCress · 07/04/2013 18:44

kal it's just funny Grin

ChairmanWow · 07/04/2013 19:27

My cat used to jump up and have a good old sniff at the rusty sheriff's badge when she heard me let rip. She's now an old dowager and far too civilised for such pursuits. She tends to lift her head up and give me a supercilious look these days. But I know all her secrets and give her the raised eyebrows back, the patronising old twat.

LetMeAtTheWine · 07/04/2013 21:33

Maybe rather than laziness she just liked it then. There seems to be a lot of it about Smile
I am pleased it entertained some people, and apologies if it confused you Kal Smile If you think my post was odd though, have you read the thread that Copper linked to?

Cat is now speaking to me again. By sitting on my lap & farting fulsomely at me. I've had to cover my face with a bath towel in an attempt to filter out the smell.

Even DH is disgusted at the honk and he's sat on the other side of the room.

(BTW, thanks for the concern re: cat talking to me. He has to make his selfish demands somehow. Grin )
