To keep farting on the cat?

Don't get me wrong, I am not pinning her down and doing it or anything. I am curled up on the sofa and she has got in the nook between my bum and knees. I have terrible wind. She did move but just to turn her back to me. Should I move her knowing it will probably not get any better soon, or just let her make her own choice?
I have got some dreamies which might ease her pain.

Okay KC225 ...I have ventured on to a thread I should not have dared to. I.....just......don't......get.......it. I have a DH 3 DSes and a boy dog. I have enough farting in my life. I don't need it on MN. Sense of humour failure tonight maybe

SpanielFace · 06/04/2013 21:28

I have never farted on my cat.

However, when in the early stages of labour & bouncing on my birthing ball thing in front of the TV, I stood up and my waters burst with a sudden "whoosh" all over the cat's head. She wasn't impressed. Serves her right for peeing on our bed & ruining the mattress!

LetMeAtTheWine · 06/04/2013 21:30

I am bored and have the sense of humour of a small child. It was clear from the title what it was about so I agree Bowler, you should not have ventured on to the thread...
Hopefully someone else will post something that appeals, can guarantee it won't be me though, sorry!

So not sniggering even a little at
"Don't get me wrong, I am not pinning her down and doing it or anything"

GrowSomeCress · 06/04/2013 21:31

I love this thread Grin

KC225 · 06/04/2013 21:35

Lets not knock Bowler - far from a sense of humour failure, I think Bowler's sense of humour has been 'burnt out' by various male cabbagey whiffs

Spaniel: Water's burst over a cat's head. There cannot be many of those around

TheAccidentalEgghibitionist · 06/04/2013 21:44

I fart on the dog regularly.

TheAccidentalEgghibitionist · 06/04/2013 21:46

dog likes to snuggle under my blanket curled up next to me. Not only do I fart but he gets gassed under the blanket.

He doesn't seem to mind...

Bowlersarm · 06/04/2013 21:51

Thank you KC225 appreciate words of understanding. I'm off so you farting conversationalist extraordinaires can get on with it without my sour input clouding your enjoyment

LetMeAtTheWine · 06/04/2013 21:53

You came back, Bowler! I think you secretly like it! Smile

LetMeAtTheWine · 06/04/2013 21:54

TheAccidental, do you do it on purpose, or is it a coincidence that you 'happen' to let rip whilst he is there?

OP posts:
crazynanna · 06/04/2013 21:54

I find farting on the cat funny. But farting isn't everyone's idea of humour..and that's totally acceptable.

TheAccidentalEgghibitionist · 06/04/2013 21:57

Not on purpose but he doesn't seem bothered at all!

LetMeAtTheWine · 06/04/2013 21:57

Spaniel! The poor cat! Did it forgive you? If it did, it is definitely a keeper.

DMC, I hope your cat is speaking to you now. Nowt worse than a huffy cat...

You may be pleased to hear my cat has now moved. She has, in fact, left the room. I think it all got a bit much for her Hmm

Oi letmeatthewine but gah yes back again

coppertop · 06/04/2013 21:59

Anyone remember this thread?

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/am_i_being_unreasonable/1608329-to-ask-why-the-cat-attacked-my-anus?reverse=1

Fart at your peril!

and not at the cat

LetMeAtTheWine · 06/04/2013 21:59

Haha Bowler, you love it! No need to be ashamed, it is perfectly acceptable!

Bowlersarm · 06/04/2013 22:00

Oh you're annoying me now.... Fingers in my ears and really off......

LetMeAtTheWine · 06/04/2013 22:01

Man alive! I read the start of the thread copper, will be reading it in in full later. Kind of relieved cat has now moved though.

OP posts:
KC225 · 06/04/2013 22:08

Bowler: Fingers in the ears and a cork in the starfish ........ that would solve a great deal

OP: When you say your cat has moved ie dragged it's weak, abused husk of body out of the room, let's hope it's not rolling around on your pillow trying to get that stench off it's back

MummyPig24 · 06/04/2013 22:08

Dp keeps telling me off for laughing as he is trying to get to sleep but this is too funny!

TheAccidentalEgghibitionist · 06/04/2013 22:10

Thanks for posting that thread coppertop I couldn't read it out to DH for crying with laughter. May be the best opening post I've ever read.

LetMeAtTheWine · 06/04/2013 22:11

I didn't make her stay there KC, besides, cats like warm places. It was just warmer than usual...

OP posts:
KC225 · 06/04/2013 22:12

I agree Accidental: I was crying at 'under the bridge 3 times' what a wonderful turn of phrase

LetMeAtTheWine · 06/04/2013 22:19

Haha, that other thread is comedy genius I tell ya, comedy genius!
