In London for work...it's snowing (not settling much though...) not heavily or anything but flakes! Melts as soon as it hits the ground...in North East London btw?

Snowing in Essex, stopped about an hour a ago.

Bloody mother nature forgetting to add Downloadable Content to the British Life Simulator again.

By nice to actually be able to dry my washing outside and save on my gas bill.

Snowing in Northamptonshire, two days ago we were sunning it at Warwick castle, today went for a walk and froze!

racingheart · 04/04/2013 15:58

I wouldn't even mind if it was crisp white thick sparkly snow but all we've had is sleet for weeks.

DC are home from a bike ride with friends, wrapped in blankets, drinking cocoa as if it were mid winter. Enough!

bessie26 · 04/04/2013 16:06

It's been snowing in Suffolk too

digerd · 04/04/2013 16:10

S. Herts

snow flurries and phases of heavier snow since 11am. None settled.
Always go out in a padded coat with padded large fur trimmed hood, so don't feel the cold, but fed up of being bundled up.

Like a rose under the April snow
I was always certain love would grow
Love ageless and evergreen
Seldom seen by two

You and I will make each night a first
Every day a beginning
Spirits rise and their dance is unrehearsed
They warm and excite us, cause we have the brightest love.

(Sorry.)

Buzzardbird · 04/04/2013 16:56

Oh muffin, in my head for rest of day now....

LadyBeagleEyes · 04/04/2013 17:00

We've had blue skies and sunshine for weeks up here in the Highlands though bloody freezing.
In fact there's been a spate of hill fires in the last few days, as the grass is tinder dry, and the landowners are burning for the new gowth and they're getting out of control.

I am trying to comfort myself with memories of other shitty, snowy springtimes (am quite old - and also live in London and have done all my life). 1975 was the year it snowed Oop North in June, and that summer was OK. 1978, heavy snow in the first week of April; summer fairly wet and chilly. 1979 sleet/very light snow showers in late march/early April, fairly unspectacular summer. 1985, light snow showers in fucking May, crap rainy summer.
1989, lovely warm sunny Easter at the beginning of April, a week later, light snow showers, and glorious summer.

Which really goes to show that the British climate is just a bit of a bugger most of the time.

Lovely and sunny and warm here.

Under a duvet.

Outside is snowy, windy and freezing.

YANBU

Loislane78 · 04/04/2013 21:55

YANBU I don't normally mind winter and am happy with the change in seasons but getting SERIOUSLY peed off now. On ML and I wanna be sunbathing and picnicing - just going out without 10 frigging layers Angry

smokinaces · 04/04/2013 22:11

I've had enough. I don't mind winter. Honestly. But in winter. My heating is turned up, another twenty quid on the gas, and im here in a blanket. Freezing. I can't deal with anymore snow. Or cold. It's snowed all day today. Enough.

wanderings · 04/04/2013 22:14

Really, really, really, really fed up with this crap weather!
