the poster who has never discovered something seemingly random that they do which is considered judge-worthy or terrible by another poster?

Leaving aside the traditional topics for conflict - breastfeeding not enough/too long, co-sleeping/controlled crying, formula - which people have very strong opinions about, the amount of stuff I've stumbled across where someone (or more enlighteningly, lots of posters) which is considered weird or just plain wrong by other posters is amazing.

Clothes (not babygrows) on babies. Not washing you towels regularly enough or washing them too often. Bottles for babies over 1. Not washing your baby's clothes before they wear them (that was a spectacular bunfight!). Forward-facing pushchairs. Playpens. Pureed weaning. Wearing shoes in someone's house. Owning a toilet brush.

Is there anyone out there who has yet to come across an odd thread that hugely judges something they do?

Oh dear. The washing toddlers' toys comment has reminded me of a very unfortunate incident with a vomiting two year old and an entire huge trug/bucket thing of wooden Brio-style railway.

I wiped off the worst and then chucked it all in the bath with some hot water and washing up liquid.

Thurlow · 31/03/2013 20:45

Ite, towel washing is done shockingly infrequently here too. I'm clean when I use 'em, then they go over the heated towel rail to dry. I really, really can't bring myself to care about them. Though if someone magically gave me fluffy, softener washed towels every morning that would be OK, I guess.

I think breast in soup is probably quite rude.

The best fight was you have another thing/ think coming Grin

Social services might be called if your DCs go without vests

and you better hope your DH doesn't eat the kids crisps and you need to vent on aibu - at your own peril!

As my dear old dad says, "it'll end in tears" Grin

I wonder how long before I get flamed for only once a week! I dare someone to have a go at me for it!

The most terrible thing I was doing without realising it:

Before joining MN, I was blithely using the word 'forums'.

littlemissbunny · 31/03/2013 20:48

Go on catgirl

catgirl1976 · 31/03/2013 20:49

Done :)

usualsuspect · 31/03/2013 20:50

Where is the pants thread?

Shall I go and be a goady fucker on it?

IAmLouisWalsh · 31/03/2013 20:50

I ordered soup today - no fucking breast in sight.

A big hunk of bread which I dipped in it, though. I also chucked all the unwanted cheese from DS2's sandwich on the top and it was bloody LOVELY.

Thurlow · 31/03/2013 20:50

Someone has to start a fight on that thread. Please please please please please.

foxache · 31/03/2013 20:52

Wow @ the pants thread, though disappointed that catgirl is a plant. I'm beginning to see how easy it would be to be goady.

littlemissbunny · 31/03/2013 20:52

EasilyBored · 31/03/2013 20:54

I have never considered how often I wash my towels. When they are dirty? Once a week? I have no idea. Hmmm.

Nagoo · 31/03/2013 20:55

when they stink

Panzee · 31/03/2013 20:56

I'm still not sure whether I am supposed to take my shoes off when going in people's houses. I might have manky shoes, I might have manky feet. They might have dirty floors. I'm terribly confused.
