Fell the whole thread went. I got a bit defensive which is a mistake on AIBU and then proceeded to get ripped to shreads for complaining that the bank had gone back on an offer to do us an equity release after we had spent money on planning etc. Basically the size of my mortgage, the value of our home, our salary and our location did NOT go in my favour. I'm sure you understand what with living in the morally bankrupt middle east yourself and no doubt earing a huge tax free salary all at the expense of the British taxpayer

Claim to fame is I have met Gerry & his first wife, Jacqueline, but was a child at the time.

I well remember the zoo opening & going in its first week. It was v.v. exciting.
