Watched Thor last night (bit late to the party, I know) after watching Avengers Assesmble and wanting to get the backstory (still have Iron Man 1 & 2 and Captain America to watch yet) and am today unable to get the man out of my head!

I agree re avengers. Chris Evans, Tom Hiddleston, Jeremy Renner... I'm sure there are more.

LOVE Robert Downey Jnr in pretty much everything he's ever done (esp. Tropic Thunder) but still see him as the pretty gap-toothed teen in Weird Science. Bless him!

Good grief - the arms again! I was pretty ok throughout the film until he was leaving and he kissed Natalie Portman's hand (again) and she lunged at him. That kiss! Hopeless romantic, me. Or maybe I fancy Natalie Portman?

All I could think during that kiss was "she must be standing on a box"!

Maybe she was hanging off those impressive biceps? I know I would be!

We've just watched all the avenger films over the last few weeks and I now have a major Robert Downey junior crush! The kids are taking me to see iron man 3 for my birthday and we have the Sherlock films lined up for the weekend I wouldn't say no to Tom Hiddleston either!

Have both Sherlock films waiting to be watched. Robert Downey Jnr is just always so believable - he's great in the Iron Man films. His one-liners are fantastic - calling Thor 'Point Break' and Loki 'Reindeer Games' - love it.

I love the Sherlock films. RDJ is just as funny with Jude Law.

That film is full of cross-eyed nnnghhhh! moments, in my case I spin from Jeremy Renner to Robert Downey Jnr to Mark Ruffalo and back again.

MrsBert - I've actually wanted to watch that for awhile. It's on my hit-list. Poor old Val Kilmer - used to be quite handsome, then his head exploded!

Jeremy Renner is 5 10 according to google. Only a couple of inches taller than me, but matters not when you're horizontal (snerk). And he's another one with fantastic arms, as you say.

According to 'celebrity heights and weights' (what a great website - not!) Jeremy Renner is 5'8" - same height as me. That'd work.
